South Stevenson

Here is a special version with South Stevenson vary Do not miss an opportunity to make a long way if you do not have 12 days to the full!

Dates: a la carte or with freedom.

RDV: A Chasserades.

Group: 10 to 15 people.

Level: Good shape, to walk between 4 and 6 hours per day and good humor essential. A pace, for the comfort of all.

    The Program:

    Step: 1 Chasserades / the Caps

    11:00 Reception at Chasserades, lunch at the sources.

    2:00 p.m. Depart Chasserades along the path of RL Stevenson, we reach the viaduct Mirandol and the village of Print. We cross the mountain of Goulet North / South, towards the sources of the Lot to reach the shelter of the "Escoutal" Nathalie in the cap.

    Step: 2 cups / Le Refuge du Mont Lozère

    Rando day with picnic

    9:00 Bleymard the Department, visit the village and the hamlet of Cayre, crossing land Crussinas, the route of unemployed.

    Restaurant meals and overnight lodging at the Refuge.

    Step: 3 Refuge / Villeneuve

    Back on the initial leg of Stevenson, we will follow the stones planted in the Draille that we will lead at the top of Finiels (1700m), highest point of Mont Lozère.

    Descend south side of Mont Lozère, in Protestant countries. We will discover the Valley High Tarn. Descent towards the plain in the middle of the Tarn granite, the village of Hospital, the former estate of the Knights of Malta, to arrive at the farm of Villeneuve. The Molina family will bring a warm and friendly welcome. We will share the meal with our guests and overnight at the lodge.

    Step: 4 Villeneuve / Grizac

    After breakfast at the farm, starting at the Bridge Montvert stronghold Camisards. Crossing of the Tarn to the old lookout Gasbiel of the neck of Lancisi, the hamlet of Merlet.

    Picnic at the bridge and return by minibus to Chasserades (Journey 1:00).

    Practical information

    Access: Ales / Génolhac by Villefort, then take La Bastide, Prevencheres, Puy Laurent, Chasserades.

    Equipment: Walking shoes, warm clothing arctic windproof raincoat or cape depluie, hiking backpack, comfortable (30/35 liters), water bottle, sunscreen, sunglasses, personal small pharmacy, towel down (blankets provided in the cottages).

    Accommodation: in bed

    Price example for a: group of 10 to 14 people: 251 € / person

    group of 15 people: € 231 / person

    The price includes: management, board and lodging, picnics, public transport minibus.

    Not included: Travel to / from, your drinks and your individual insurance.
